Welcome to the Honey Hog Hit Squad™, the youth mentorship and agricultural leadership program powered by Honey Hog Farms. We're not just raising show pigs—we’re raising strong minds, skilled hands, and servant-hearted leaders.

💥 What We Do

The Honey Hog Hit Squad is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground program where youth ages 9–18 get the full experience of raising, training, and showing champion-quality swine. We work with students across 4-H, FFA, and NJSA, providing elite-level mentorship, housing for their pigs, and top-notch education in animal husbandry, responsibility, and rural entrepreneurship.

🧑‍🌾 Who Can Join?

Youth in Clay, Baker, Nassau, Duval, and Columbia Counties are eligible to apply. Whether you're a first-time showman or a seasoned competitor, the Hit Squad helps you level up. We support homegrown grit, respect for the land, and pride in your animals.

Every squad has a leader—ours just happens to have hooves. “Boss Hog” represents the grit, humor, and heart of the Honey Hog Hit Squad. You’ll see him at events, on merchandise, and rooting for our kids in the show ring.

More Than Farming: The Heart of the Honey Hog Hit Squad

At Honey Hog Farms, the Honey Hog Hit Squad is more than an agricultural program — it’s a purpose-driven mission to mentor, educate, and uplift youth, especially those who need it most.

We blend hands-on farm work, animal care, beekeeping, gardening, and life skills training with something far more powerful: unshakable support, structure, and love.

We welcome all youth, but we have a special place in our hearts for at-risk kids — those who’ve been overlooked, misunderstood, or are simply searching for something real. Here, we don’t just teach them how to feed animals or pull honey — we teach them how to feed their potential and pull strength from within.

🌾 Our Curriculum Is Grounded In Real Life:

Livestock care & showmanship (pigs, goats, poultry, etc.)
Beekeeping: from hive management to honey harvesting
Gardening & composting
Farm-to-table food education
Teamwork, discipline, and responsibility
Basic carpentry, welding, and tool skills
Public speaking and leadership
Financial literacy through farm budgeting and animal sales
Event preparation, setup, and customer service skills
Recordkeeping, daily chores, and time management

But beyond that, we teach them how to show up, how to lead, and most importantly, how to trust again.
